Both myself and my daughter have taken lessons from Tracey for years. She is so dedicated, knowledgeable and supportive! I have really valued that she isn’t just aware of music but a trained teacher so able to try a variety of techniques to help me really “get it” and all delivered in such a positive encouraging way. She is very attentive to individual goals and goes the extra mile to find good resources to help and ways to keep students motivated. While I have never worked with Katie, I have overheard her working with young students and observed her to be much the same way. Upbeat Music Studio is a great family business that is well connected and supportive of our community. Highly recommended.
My family has had the absolute pleasure of working with Tracey and Katie for piano lessons. Right from the start they established a program that fostered a love of music and structure that kids can feel comfortable with as they progress through the levels. Not only that, but when our kids showed an interest in other things, they were happy to provide other songs to meet their interests. The piano recitals are so wonderful both online during Covid and in person at the churches and senior homes. The treats and special rewards are all so appreciated by the kids and their families. They are both very knowledgeable, kind and wonderful teachers. I highly recommend them!

My son is very inquisitive and she always takes the time to answer all his questions from things related to the music to how the piano works. Our daughter has taken 4 years of lessons with Miss Tracey so far and her passion for music is contagious. My three daughters have been piano students of Tracey’s for the last 14 years. They have thoroughly enjoyed Tracey’s cheerful and encouraging manner throughout their lessons. She is very accommodating when it comes to music choices and goes out of her way to find music the girls enjoy playing. She is patient, friendly and always happy. She strives to remain current in her teaching methods and finds ways to introduce technology and applicable apps when appropriate. She also provides background knowledge and explanations of the music assigned. She has made piano lessons fun and provides an incentive program to encourage more practicing at home.
